Ingredients
- 3 lb. side of salmon (skin on)
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic (1 large clove)
- 1/3 cup olive oil (plus more for brushing grill)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the salmon by cutting it into six equal portions and placing them skin-side down in a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, dijon mustard, minced garlic, and olive oil to create the marinade.
- Reserve 2 tablespoons of marinade and spread the rest over the salmon pieces, letting them rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F) and brush with oil.
- Grill the salmon skin-side down for about four minutes before gently flipping it to cook for another four minutes until done.
- Remove skin from each piece after grilling, brush with reserved marinade, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
