Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound ground turkey or beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
- 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey or beef; cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Sauté chopped onion for 3–4 minutes; add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and water. Stir in Alfredo sauce until combined.
- Bring to a boil; add broken lasagna noodles, basil, oregano, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes until noodles are al dente.
- Mix in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted.
- Top with dollops of ricotta cheese; let sit for a few minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
