  • 1 pound ground turkey or beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
  • 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey or beef; cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Sauté chopped onion for 3–4 minutes; add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and water. Stir in Alfredo sauce until combined.
  4. Bring to a boil; add broken lasagna noodles, basil, oregano, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes until noodles are al dente.
  6. Mix in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted.
  7. Top with dollops of ricotta cheese; let sit for a few minutes.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
