Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- Chopped cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut the sirloin steak into uniform 1-inch cubes and place them in a medium bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Pour over the steak cubes and toss to coat. Allow to marinate for 20-30 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add sesame oil.
- Sear half of the steak bites for about 2 minutes on one side; flip and cook for another minute until browned but pink inside. Remove to a bowl.
- Repeat with remaining steak bites. Pour reserved marinade into the skillet, bring to a boil, and cook until thickened (4-5 minutes). Pour over cooked steak bites.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped cilantro before serving.
