Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 15 x 10-inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; then stir in mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely.
- To make frosting, beat together softened butter and cream cheese until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Once cooled, spread frosting over the banana bars and cut into squares for serving.
