  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 6 tablespoons softened butter
  • 6 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Allow the beef tenderloin to come to room temperature for 1 to 2 hours before cooking.
  2. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  3. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Trim fat from the beef and tie it securely if necessary.
  4. Season the beef generously with kosher salt and black pepper.
