Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups finely crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
- 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1 pound cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup finely crushed peppermint candy
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter until crumbly. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat room temperature cream cheese in another bowl until smooth. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk while mixing.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the cream cheese mixture along with the crushed peppermint candy.
- Pour filling over the crust in the springform pan, smooth the top with a spatula, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight until set.
- Once set, remove from the springform pan, slice into wedges, and garnish with additional crushed peppermint if desired before serving.
