Ingredients
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 10 ounces fresh spinach
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (set aside a portion for later use)
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- Nonstick cooking spray
- Serve with bread, crackers, and veggies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook the fresh spinach until wilted. Let cool slightly and chop.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add chopped garlic, salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, and half the mozzarella. Fold in wilted spinach.
- Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and transfer the mixture into it. Top with remaining mozzarella.
- Bake for about 22 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
