- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 ounce onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, crumble the ground beef and add breadcrumbs, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, and milk. Mix gently without overworking.
- In another bowl, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar for the glaze.
- Spread half of the glaze in a loaf pan and shape the meat mixture into a loaf in the pan. Coat with the remaining glaze.
- Bake for about 70 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for five minutes before slicing and serving.
