Ingredients
- 2 ripe pears
- 4 cups mixed greens
- 1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Caramelize the Pears: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in honey until combined. Add sliced pears and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Prepare the Salad Base: In a large bowl, toss mixed greens with crumbled blue cheese and toasted walnuts.
- Assemble the Salad: Place warm caramelized pears on top of the salad. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
