- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine crab meat, cheddar cheese, biscuit mix, mayonnaise, egg, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper (if desired), parsley, and lemon juice. Gently fold until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into six equal patties and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges and your choice of dipping sauce.
