- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 pound Ground Beef (or Ground Turkey)
- 1 medium Yellow Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour (or Cornstarch)
- 4 cups Chicken Broth (or Vegetable Broth)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (or Half-and-Half)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Onion Powder, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 cup Matchstick Carrots
- 1 1/2 cups Uncooked Macaroni Noodles
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- 1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened.
- 2. Add ground beef or turkey; cook until browned.
- 3. Sprinkle flour over the meat mixture; stir for about 2 minutes.
- 4. Gradually pour in chicken broth while stirring; then add heavy cream.
- 5. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika; mix well.
- 6. Stir in matchstick carrots and uncooked macaroni noodles.
- 7. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes or until pasta is cooked.
- 8. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar and Parmesan until melted.
