- 1 lb beef sirloin

- 1 tbsp apple vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup beef broth or water
- 1/2 tsp sugar
Instructions
- Slice the beef against the grain and prepare your vegetables.
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, apple vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar. Let marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
- Sear the marinated beef until browned (about 2-3 minutes).
- Add onions, garlic, and ginger; stir-fry until onions are tender.
- Pour in broth to deglaze the pan and combine everything well.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
