- 1 pound ground chuck
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Butter (for toasting)
- 4 sesame seed hamburger buns
- 16 dill pickle slices
- 1/2 white onion (sliced into rings)
- 12 tomato slices
- 4 tablespoons ketchup
- Lettuce leaves
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the ground chuck with salt and black pepper. Form into equal-sized patties slightly larger than the buns.
- Butter the cut side of each bun and toast them in a skillet over medium heat until lightly browned.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and cook each patty for about 2-3 minutes on each side, sprinkling additional salt as desired.
- Assemble your burger by placing one patty on a bun, layering with pickles, onions, tomatoes, ketchup, lettuce, and mayonnaise before topping it off with the other half.
