- 1 pound small pasta (e.g., fusilli or penne)
- 16 ounces mozzarella balls
- 3 cups cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the small pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, white balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes, and sliced basil.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss until all ingredients are well coated.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to an hour to let flavors meld.
