- 1 loaf country-style white bread (crusts off, cubed)
- 4 oz cream cheese (diced)
- 2 cups blueberries (fresh or thawed)
- 8 eggs (whisked)
- 1.5 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cubed bread and cream cheese. Gently fold in one cup of blueberries.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, and maple syrup until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and blueberry mixture; stir gently to coat. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle remaining blueberries on top. Bake for 60 minutes until golden brown.
