- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar (plus 2 tablespoons for topping)
- 1/2 cup butter, divided
- 1 (29 ounce) can sliced peaches in heavy syrup (undrained)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine self-rising flour, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup melted butter.
- Layer one-third of the flour mixture in a greased 9×9 baking dish.
- Pour the sliced peaches with their juice over the flour base.
- Top with the remaining flour mixture and drizzle with the rest of the melted butter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
