- 2 large limes
- 2 large lemons
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 4 oz coconut water
- 4 oz cream of coconut
- ¼ cup fresh lime juice
- 3½ to 4 cups ice
- Freshly grated nutmeg (for garnish)
- Lime round (for garnish)
Instructions
- Make oleo saccharum: Peel limes and lemons, mix peels with sugar in a resealable container, shake well, and let sit for 3–8 hours.
- Add liquid: Pour coconut water into the container with oleo saccharum, seal, and shake until sugar dissolves.
- Strain: Use a fine mesh strainer to pour the mixture into a blender.
- Blend: Add cream of coconut, fresh lime juice, and ice; blend until smooth. Adjust thickness by adding more ice if desired.
- Serve: Pour into glasses, garnish with nutmeg and lime rounds, and enjoy immediately.
