- 4 ripe but firm pears
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 50 grams walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons apple juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- A pinch of vanilla sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
- Wash, peel, and halve the pears, removing the core.
- Melt the butter in an oven-safe skillet and place the pear halves cut-side down.
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar. Drizzle this mixture over the pears and add apple juice for moisture.
- Sprinkle chopped walnuts evenly on top of the pears.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until the pears are soft and caramelized.
