  • 1/3 cup beef broth
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar (sub apple cider vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp arrowroot starch
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (omit for AIP)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons green onion (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together coconut aminos, beef broth, rice vinegar, coconut sugar, arrowroot starch, garlic powder, and ginger powder until smooth.
  2. Heat avocado oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Sauté broccoli florets for 5-6 minutes until crisp-tender; remove from pan.
  3. In the same pan, cook ground beef with salt and pepper until browned; drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Return broccoli to the pan, add the sauce mixture, lower heat slightly, and stir until thickened (about 1-2 minutes).
  5. Serve hot topped with chopped green onions.
