Ingredients
- 2 beef tenderloins (1 ½ to 2 pounds total)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (plus extra for serving)
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate the beef: Place tenderloins in a ziplock bag with BBQ sauce. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Prepare the beef: Remove from fridge 30 minutes before grilling.
- Preheat grill: Light all burners on high for 10 minutes, then turn off all but one burner.
- Grill the beef: Cook on the hot side of the grill, seasoning with salt and pepper, until charred. Move to cooler side until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Rest and serve: Transfer to a carving board, tent with foil, rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
