Ingredients
- 1.5 lb salmon fillet (skin on)
- Zest and juice from 1 large orange
- ½ tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp chipotle chili powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Soak the cedar plank in beer and water for at least 4 hours.
- In a bowl, whisk together the orange zest, juice, olive oil, brown sugar, chipotle powder, and cumin.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 415°F).
- Place the soaked cedar plank on the grill and add the salmon fillet skin side down.
- Rub the marinade generously over the salmon and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
