Ingredients

  • 6 ounces mozzarella pearls (fresh)
  • 1 baguette (demi)
  • ½ cup basil pesto
  • gel food coloring (black)
  • 12 ounces cherry tomatoes
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • red pepper flakes
  • fresh basil
  • balsamic vinegar glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Fill silicone skull molds with mozzarella pearls and bake for 6–7 minutes until melted.
  3. Increase oven temp to 475°F. Halve cherry tomatoes, season, and roast for 10–15 minutes.
  4. Slice baguette into ½-inch pieces, toast for 8–10 minutes.
  5. Mix pesto with black food coloring to desired color.
  6. Assemble bruschetta by spreading pesto on toasted bread, adding roasted tomatoes and mozzarella skulls, then return to oven for an additional 8–10 minutes.
  7. Serve drizzled with balsamic glaze and fresh basil.
