Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 pound beef sausages
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by peeling and slicing the potatoes. Chop the onions and mince the garlic.
- In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, brown the beef sausages on all sides; remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, cook chopped turkey bacon until crispy; remove excess fat but leave some for flavor.
- Sauté onions in the pot until soft, about 5 minutes; add minced garlic and stir for another minute.
- Return the sausages to the pot, layering in sliced potatoes on top. Pour in chicken broth and water until everything is submerged.
- Cover and bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 30-40 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Stir gently before serving hot.
