  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Slice the zucchinis into sticks (about half an inch square and 2-3 inches long) and cut the onion into quarters, then slice into half-inch pieces.
  2. Heat a sauté pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil until it shimmers.
  3. Sauté the sliced onion for about 2 minutes until softened.
  4. Add minced garlic and ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds.
  5. Add zucchini sticks and sauté for another 4-5 minutes until they brown slightly.
  6. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil, seasoning with salt, black pepper, and sesame seeds. Sauté for an additional minute until well-coated.
