Ingredients
- 1 to 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/4 cup cooking sake (or rice apple vinegar)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (for glaze)
- White sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate the wings: Clean and pat dry the chicken wings. Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl and coat the wings. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Make the glaze: In a saucepan, mix all glaze ingredients over low heat until thickened (about 5 minutes).
- Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F (207°C). Arrange marinated wings on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Brush with half the glaze, then bake for another 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Finish: Brush remaining glaze on wings and bake for another 10 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
