  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ⅓ cup Dutch processed cocoa powder
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer or large bowl, beat the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Scrape down the bowl and add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  3. Gradually add dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder; mix on low speed until just combined.
  4. Fold in the white chocolate chips and chill the dough for 45–60 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie onto prepared sheets, leaving space between each.
  7. Bake for 10–11 minutes and press additional white chocolate chips onto warm cookies before serving.
