- 16 oz elbow macaroni
- 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 cups whole milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Measure all ingredients.
- In the crock pot, combine uncooked elbow macaroni, milk, butter, salt, and pepper; stir to mix well.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top without stirring.
- Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring halfway through.
- Check for doneness; if too thick, add a splash of milk.
- Stir before serving and enjoy!
