- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 2 large eggs
- 2 slices thick-cut bacon
- 1 slice sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and toast the bread slices until golden brown, approximately 2-3 minutes per side.
- Crack eggs into the skillet and cook until set, seasoning with salt and pepper (about 3-4 minutes).
- Assemble by layering bacon on one slice of toasted bread, followed by cooked eggs and cheese. Top with another slice of bread.
- Serve warm.
