  • 1 1/2 lb Baby Potatoes (washed)
  • 2 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (ground)
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 stalk Green onion (chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, honey, minced garlic, black pepper, water, and sesame oil to create the braising liquid.
  2. Boil a large pot of water with a splash of vinegar. Add the baby potatoes and cook for 12-15 minutes until tender. Drain and let dry.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the cooked potatoes and pan-fry until golden brown on all sides (about 4 minutes).
  4. Pour the prepared braising liquid over the potatoes and simmer for about 5-6 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve warm garnished with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion.
