Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let sit until foamy (5–10 minutes).
  2. Mix flour and salt in another bowl; add yeast mixture and olive oil to form a shaggy dough.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about 5–7 minutes until smooth; let rise in an oiled bowl covered with plastic wrap for 1–2 hours.
  4. For the topping: Combine ground meat with onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, tomato paste, parsley, and spices in a large bowl.
  5. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
