- 1 pound lean ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup minced garlic
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For topping: 1/2 cup marinara sauce, 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until just mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it evenly.
- Spread marinara sauce on top and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes until an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
