Ingredients
- 1 lb meatballs (chicken, beef, lamb, or turkey)
- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 ½ cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides; remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion and minced garlic for about 3 minutes until softened.
- Pour in chicken broth; bring to a simmer. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions (usually 8-10 minutes).
- Stir in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning; simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to thicken.
- Return meatballs to the skillet; mix with pasta. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
