  • 2 cups fresh cheese tortellini (or ravioli)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a large pot, melt butter over medium-high heat and cook chicken until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add more butter if needed and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Stir in crushed red pepper flakes.
  3. Pour in chicken broth while scraping any bits stuck to the pot; stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add tortellini and cook for about 4–6 minutes until tender.
  5. Return the chicken to the pot, mix in Parmesan cheese until melted, then cook for another 2–3 minutes before serving.
