- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/8 cup parsley (chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, onion, milk, bread crumbs, ketchup, parsley, garlic, pepper, and salt. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf in a loaf pan or casserole dish.
- For the glaze, whisk together ketchup and brown sugar; brush it over the meatloaf.
- Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
