Ingredients
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2–4 very ripe bananas
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Grease a loaf pan with butter or oil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar until mixed well.
- Mash the very ripe bananas in the bowl and mix until smooth.
- Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour; mix gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan evenly.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
