  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for about 5 minutes until softened.
  2. Add minced garlic and diced jalapeños; cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Incorporate chicken breasts and chicken broth; bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken, shred it using two forks, and return it to the pot.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Mix in softened cream cheese until smooth, followed by shredded cheddar until melted.
  7. If desired, add crumbled turkey bacon for extra flavor and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
