- 5 cups fresh strawberries (halved or quartered)
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ⅔ cup old-fashioned oats
- ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a deep dish pie plate.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine strawberries, orange juice, and granulated sugar; toss to coat evenly.
- 3. In another bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and cinnamon; stir in melted butter until crumbly.
- 4. Spread the strawberry mixture in the greased dish and sprinkle the oat topping over it.
- 5. Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until golden brown.
- 6. Allow cooling slightly before serving warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
