Ingredients
- 11 ounces vanilla wafers
- ½ cup salted butter (melted)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
- ⅔ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup sour cream (room temperature)
- 16 ounces whipped topping (divided)
- 3 ounces strawberry gelatin
- ¾ cup boiling water
- ¼ cup ice cubes
- ½ cup heavy cream (room temperature)
- 1½ cups chopped fresh strawberries
Instructions
- Prepare the crust by crushing vanilla wafers and mixing with melted butter. Press into a 9×13 inch pan.
- For the cream cheese layer, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and sour cream until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping and spread over the crust.
- Make the strawberry layer by dissolving gelatin in boiling water, then adding ice cubes. Once cooled, mix in heavy cream and fold in strawberries and remaining whipped topping.
- Spread the strawberry layer over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
