- 2 pounds beef belly
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 green onions (sliced, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and optional chili flakes.
- Place the beef belly in a baking dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring even coverage. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the marinated beef from the refrigerator and uncover it.
- Roast the beef belly for approximately 180 minutes until tender.
- Let the beef rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
