Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced and sautéed
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet or loaf pan.
- Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy; set aside. Sauté mushrooms in the leftover fat until browned.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Gently fold in half of the shredded Swiss cheese into the mixture.
- Shape into a loaf on the baking sheet and top with remaining cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and chopped turkey bacon.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
