Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and spray a large loaf pan with nonstick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all the meatloaf ingredients until well mixed.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the greased loaf pan.
- For the sauce, combine ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan; bring to a boil and simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- Pour half of the sauce over the meatloaf and bake for 30 minutes.
- Add the remaining sauce on top and bake for another 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Let the meatloaf rest before slicing.
