  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and spray a large loaf pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all the meatloaf ingredients until well mixed.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the greased loaf pan.
  4. For the sauce, combine ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan; bring to a boil and simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Pour half of the sauce over the meatloaf and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Add the remaining sauce on top and bake for another 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Let the meatloaf rest before slicing.
