Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
- Add sugar, eggs (one at a time), and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined—do not overmix.
- If desired, fold in nuts for added texture.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and tap gently to remove air bubbles.
- Bake for 55 to 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
