Ingredients
- 6 cups mixed berries (frozen or fresh)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 15.25 oz yellow or white cake mix
- 1 cup softened butter
- ½ cup milk
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine mixed berries, brown sugar, and lemon juice; pour into the baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together cake mix, softened butter, and milk until well combined (lumps are fine).
- Spoon the cake mixture over the berry layer and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle granulated sugar on top and bake for about 45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
