Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 2 boxes (3 oz each) strawberry Jell-O
- 3 cups miniature marshmallows
- 15.25 oz strawberry cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare)
- Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream
Instructions
- Prepare strawberries by crushing them with a fork and spreading them evenly in a greased 9×13 inch cake pan.
- Sprinkle strawberry Jell-O over the crushed strawberries followed by the marshmallows.
- Prepare the strawberry cake mix according to package directions and pour over the marshmallow layer.
- Bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling for 15 minutes before flipping onto a serving tray. Chill until ready to serve.
