  • 1 tablespoon complete seasoning
  • Salt + pepper to taste
  • 1 medium white onion (sliced)
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil the flank steak with bay leaves and salt in a large pot until tender (about 1 to 1.5 hours). Alternatively, pressure cook for 30-40 minutes.
  2. Shred the cooked beef using two forks.
  3. Marinate shredded beef with lime juice, 2 tablespoons of oil, garlic, complete seasoning, salt, and pepper for about 30 minutes.
  4. Heat remaining oil in a skillet. Fry shredded beef in batches until crispy (5 minutes per side).
  5. Sauté sliced onions with the beef until softened (4-5 minutes).
  6. Serve hot with rice, beans, and lime wedges.
