- 2 cups fresh pineapple (diced)
- 2 cups mango (diced)
- 1 cup red bell pepper (diced)
- 3 tablespoons cilantro (chopped)
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 5 whole jalapeno peppers (sliced)
- 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
- 12 Bison Wieners (or beef hotdogs)
- 12 hot dog buns
Instructions
- Prepare the salsa by dicing pineapple, mango, bell pepper, and cilantro. Combine in a large bowl, add lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let sit.
- Preheat the grill to 450°F. Reduce heat to 350°F before grilling bison wieners for about 5 minutes per side until heated through.
- Toast hot dog buns on the grill until golden brown.
- Assemble by placing each grilled wiener in a bun, adding jalapenos, topping with salsa and drizzling BBQ sauce.
