- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness and place it on a parchment-lined baking tray or pizza stone.
- Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a crust edge. Season with salt and pepper.
- Arrange fresh blackberries atop the ricotta. If desired, sprinkle mozzarella cheese for added richness.
- Drizzle olive oil over the assembled pizza.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- Garnish with torn basil leaves and drizzle with honey and balsamic glaze if desired. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into six pieces.
