Ingredients
- 1/3 cup onion (chopped)
- 1/3 cup celery (chopped)
- 1/4 cup oleo (or butter)
- 1 cup Minute Rice (uncooked)
- 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup water or chicken broth
- 8 ounces Cheez Whiz
- 10 ounces frozen broccoli (florets or pieces)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Allow the frozen broccoli to partially thaw.
- In a fry pan, melt the oleo over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and celery until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sautéed onion and celery with Minute Rice, cream of mushroom soup, water or broth, Cheez Whiz, and thawed broccoli. Mix well.
- Coat a 2-quart casserole pan with non-stick spray and pour in the mixture. Bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden.
