- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1½ cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the egg with milk and oil until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
- Pour batter into the greased pan and sprinkle reserved chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
