Ingredients
- 2 lbs Angus ground beef (85/15)
- 1 ½ Tbsp ground coffee
- ½ Tbsp salt
- ½ Tbsp paprika
- ½ Tbsp brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp brewed coffee
- Brioche or pretzel buns
- Cooked turkey bacon slices
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the coffee rub ingredients: ground coffee, salt, paprika, brown sugar, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and coriander.
- In another large bowl, mix the Angus ground beef with brewed coffee, heavy cream (or BBQ sauce), kosher salt, and black pepper until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into six equal patties about ¾ inch thick and press lightly in the center.
- Heat a cast iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook patties for about 5-7 minutes per side until desired doneness is reached.
- Assemble your burgers by placing cooked patties on toasted buns topped with sauce, lettuce, and turkey bacon.
